Peer Pressure

–noun
social pressure by members of one's peer group to take a certain action, adopt certain values, or otherwise conform in order to be accepted.

This exists everywhere and with every teen out there. Just as the definition says above it makes teen want to be part of a certain social group and make other people accept them. That they will do whatever to get in. The common one is peer pressure. They want to be cool and they want their friends to accept them and try to be "popular."  As shown as in the picture to the right. There are two pretty girls and three good looking guys and a football player that is pretty good at football. In most teens minds they want to be like them and not worrying on being popular.  According to Teen Health many of teen's peers are their greater influence than their parents. Teens spend more time with their peers at school and when they go out and trying to be with them makes them slip away from their family. Since they depend on their peers and no longer their family they do what ever they think is cool and what ever their peers are doing. Its just like the saying, "monkey see monkey do."
